In the Middle of Nowhere, New Mexico

Hi y'all,
Kelly here...  Jake just called from a barbershop in Buckhorn, NM.  They have absolutely no cell service, so there will be no photos or blogs from the guys today!
He said they climbed and climbed and climbed today; traveled about 48 miles in 6 hours.  Looks like two more climbing days ahead.
Marty's knee is better.
Hopefully, they will be able to get online tomorrow.

  1. Kelly, besides the red convertable you are the best picture in the album.

    Dear Jake,

Things are well here in the land of Evergreen, kind of like your trip without all the nice people, beautiful scenery and neat places to eat.

Today I suggested that we install a bell in Jeff's office that we could ring at the beginning and closing of each day like at the NYSE. Jeff didn't like it so I suggested a buzzer instead, like the ones they use at the rodeo but Jeff informed me that those buzzers are actually cattle prods and were not appropriate for our culture.

My last suggestion was a suggestion box and now I am sitting in my office with the door closed and no lights. It is kind of spooky because I hung my six foot hammerhead on the wall yesterday and I can't remember which direction his mouth is pointed so I'm kind of scared to leave my desk.

Hope all is well with you, we really miss you.
